The challenge for this piece was, “how much detail and realism can I achieve just using a chalk pencil on black board”? The Bar Room Cowboys gave me the option to show ‘the disappearing line’, which makes you wonder, “where is the rest?” The mind fills in the blanks as you might not be able to see the whole image, but that is the beauty and art about it; with dramatic lighting, only showing the lighted side. The mind easily accepts the ‘not shown line’, which is one of the many attractions to the piece.
