The reference to draw “Peaceful Warrior – came from a Historian, but failed to mention details of the subject. The idea for this piece was to use a heavy tooth drawing paper and ‘B’ pencils to capture the realism that the photo depicted. I challenged myself with using grain and texture from the pencil to re-capture that essence of the image. I believe it enhances the story line.
